Microsoft's Bing Maps is set to get a new design and an intuitive interface, with a test version already available for anyone curious enough to want a peek and give it a spin. Map services will be expanded with the overhaul, with search results now running along the left edge of the screen. The update will let users enter multiple locations or destinations simultaneously, all accompanied by information about the site.
Another update allows better route planning for pedestrians, public transportation and drivers, who also get live traffic information.
