PTI Chief Imran Khan on Tuesday visited Lady Reading Hospital to review emergency situation where he inquired after health of quake injured. Accompanied by the Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak and Special Assistant to the CM on Information and Higher Education Mustaq Ghani, Imran said he was well aware of the problems being faced by the earthquake victims and KP government would not leave them alone in this hour of need and tribulations.
While talking to the media on the occasion, Imran said that the government would utilise all resources possible for rehabilitation of the affectees and quake-hit areas. He said he would also visit Dir, Swabi and Swat soon. Khan further said that at least 2,000 people in KP were injured and nearly 200 were killed. Imran urged people to avoid unnecessary visits to hospitals as it would affect the working of the doctors and para medical staff. He said the KP government would help the victims in reconstruction of their houses as well.
