4500 candidates appeared in UOP entry test

4500 candidates appeared in the entry test of University of Peshawar for admission to the Master Degree program held at four centres under the National Testing Service, here on Sunday. The candidates appeared for admission against approximately 2200 allocated seats in 42 different disciplines of the varsity where MA program is being offered.
Vice Chancellor UoP Professor Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan accompanied by Registrar Dr Syed Fazl-i-Hadi, Director Admissions Professor Dr Hizbullah Khan and other officers of the University visited the test centre.
Four separate categories of test ranging from Pre-Medical (UAT-PM),Pre-Engineering (UAT-PE), Computer/ Commerce/ General Science (UAT-CCGS) Art & Humanities (UAT-AH) were designed for the candidates seeking admission to various disciplines.
The results would be announced on Tuesday (November 3) and can be visited on the University's website www.uop.edu.pk and NTS website www.nts.org.pk.
It is pertinent to mention that the provisional merit list of the selected students would be displayed in the respective departments on November 11 followed by final merit list on November 16. Classes for the new session of Master program will start from November 23.
