Ukraine's agriculture ministry and traders have reached a preliminary agreement to export no more than 16.5 million tonnes of wheat from the country in the 2015/16 July-June season, UkrAgroConsult said on Monday. Ukraine and grain traders sign a memorandum each year in which the government promises to impose no restrictions on an agreed volume of grain and keep the export rules unchanged. UkrAgroConsult said the ministry was also allowing exports of 16 million tonnes of maize and 3.8 million tonnes of barley this season.
