Four rainy spells forecast

The Met Office has forecast four rainy spells during the month of November, saying that the current month would be wetter than normal. It said that the prevailing climatic trend was a key reason for wetter November following southward track of westerly waves. The continuing spell of rain/snow will continue for a couple of days scaling down temperature between 2 degrees Celsius and 3 degrees Celsius.
"Afterwards, three spells of rain/snow are expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), North Punjab, Islamabad, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) & Kashmir and two spells in Northeast Balochistan during this month," the office said in its weather outlook for November 2015. The current spell is likely to produce scattered rain with snowfall over the hills of upper KP, FATA, North Punjab, Islamabad, GB and Kashmir during next 24 hours, the second spell one will be of intensity at isolated places of upper KP, North Punjab, Islamabad, GB, and Kashmir during second week of this month. Two spells are forecast for the same areas after November 15. The number of aftershocks reached 100 following October 26 earthquake, the met office said.
