As the temperature dropped below the freezing point in several places including Kalat -04°C, Dalbandin, Astore, Kalam -02°C, Skardu, Parachinar -01°C., the Meteorological department has forecast more rain spells in this month. Three spells of rain/snow are expected in KP, North Punjab, Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir and two spells are expected in Northeast Balochistan in current month. Met Office said on Friday that another westerly wave is heading towards Pakistan that will grip fully most of the upper and western parts of the country next week.
Rain with snowfall at hilly areas of Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Kohat, Peshawar, Zhob, Quetta, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Upper Fata, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir are expected on coming Monday and Tuesday. Rain/snowfall over the hills of moderate intensity (with isolated heavy falls over Fata and Upper KP) likely at scattered places of KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, DI Khan divisions), North Balochistan (Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi divisions), Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from November 11 to 13.
