Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Local Bodies election in Sindh are open for all the political forces, as a fair ground has been set so that true representatives may reach into local bodies to serve the people at the grass-root level.
The PPP chairman was presiding over meetings with PPP district office-bearers from Tando Allahyar, Hyderabad and City Hyderabad at Bilawal House, said a press release issued here on Sunday.
Chief Minister and PPP Sindh President Syed Qaim Ali Shah, MNA Faryal Talpur, Senior Minister Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, ministers Jam Khan Shoro, Jameel Soomro, among others, attended the meeting. Bilawal Bhutto asked the administration and the Election Commission of Pakistan to make proper arrangements for the second phase of Local Bodies polls as the people should cast their vote freely.
He hoped that law enforcement agencies and the administration will be alert and would foil any attempt to coerce people. The party representatives of the districts apprised the chairman of the political conditions in their respective areas and also discussed organisational matters. The PPP chairman expressed that party candidates will win a great majority in all the districts.
