A joint investigation team (JIT) has been constituted to quiz Dr Asim Hussain for allegedly providing medical assistance to militants. According to reports, the newly formed JIT, headed by SSP South Dr Farooq, would begin a probe in the next two days. No official of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and anti-corruption unit is included in the team. However, for the very first time two gazetted officers of Rangers intelligence service are included in the JIT.
