The Punjab-based Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has called the government's six-to-eight-hour gas load management plan for domestic consumers and stoppage of gas for factories and textile industries "the worst example of its failures". Party Organiser Chaudhary Mohammad Sarwar talking to party workers, led by Morr Aimenabad Union Council chairman-candidate Rana Kaleem on Friday, said scathingly.
"The Insaf is fighting a war to rescue the country from the clutches of a politicians' mafia. The rulers will have to stop their looting spree, if they want democracy to carry on in the country. People are facing the worst kind of administration and corruption under the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz rule and praying that their rule will end." He also claimed the rulers had destroyed the country and people were facing rising prices and joblessness and governing party leaders were making tall claims. Those also present were Punjab Deputy Organiser Umer Sarfraz Cheema, former member of the Punjab Assembly Mian Arqam Khan, ticket-holder Rana Shahzad Hafeez and vice-chairman-candidate Mehar Dilshad.
