A bigger and improved second version of Knowledge Leadership in Innovation and Creativity (KLIC) is being held in a local hotel on November 17 and 18. KLIC is Pakistan's first international conference on innovation. It was held last year in November with presenters from countries around the world giving engaging talks and running workshops on creative thinking.
Presenters are coming from Italy, Belgium, Holland, Mexico, United States and Pakistan. All of them are professionals and consultants in the field of innovation and regularly conduct training and facilitation for Fortune 500 companies in Europe and North America.
The conference is divided into two plenary sessions-one on November 17 morning and the other on November 18 afternoon. In between there are 15 workshops that participants can choose from. "KLIC's goal is to provide a framework for innovation to corporate leaders in Pakistan," says the conference founder, Rumman Ahmad. "People believe that innovation just happens. That is not true. A company must create the proper conditions under which innovation can thrive. And then train its human resource to take advantage of it. At KLIC we provide a lot of hands on experience on both dimensions," he added.-PR
