An upward trend was witnessed on the grain market on Saturday in the process of thin trading, dealer said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was higher by Rs 250 to Rs 10500 and Moong Afghan lost Rs 125 to Rs 11250, Masoor Dall low variety was down by Rs 800 to Rs 10000, while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 10900, they added.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type shed Rs 10 to Rs 2810 while the good type stayed firm at Rs 2870, other varieties maintained last levels, they said. On the seeds side, cakes inferior quality was up by Rs 40 to Rs 1200 and the best type was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 1225, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was unchanged at Rs 1850 and the best quality gained Rs 1925, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams sector, they said.
