'Ya Qurban' music competitions enthral audience

The "Ya Qurban" music competitions held in Mardan and Abbottabad which mesmerised the audience and participants. In Mardan, a total of 91 contestants participated in the event in which Zarnosh got first prize of Rs 100,000, while second prize of Rs 75,000 was given to Jalal. Khairul Amin stood 3rd and got Rs 50,000 cash prize. Advisor to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on tourism and culture Amjad Khan Afridi was the chief guest on the occasion.
The second series of "Ya Qurban" music competition was also held at Abbottabad where 94 contestants participated in the event. The competition was held for two categories Pashto and Hindko music. In Hindko music, the first prize of Rs 100,000 was given to Zain Ali, second prize of Rs 75000 was clinched by Miss Tehmeena and the 3rd prize of Rs 50,000 was given to Ashir Bhatti.
In Pashto music, Gul Bahadar got first prize of Rs 100,000 while second prize of Rs 75000 was given to Zahir Khan Swati and the 3rd prize of Rs 50,000 was given to Niaz Gul. Deputy Commissioner Abbotabad was the chief guest on the occasion, who gave away prizes. The third "Ya Qurban" Music Competition will be held at Nishtar hall Peshawar at 10pm tomorrow (Saturday).
