General elections: KP chapter of JI highly optimistic about prospects

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, provincial Ameer, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan has vowed to continue struggle for rights of KP, and claimed that the party will emerge as leading 'religio-political' force in the next general elections in the province, due to its good performance.
He was addressing at a concluding session of two-day congregation, organised by Jamaat-e-Islami in district Mardan on Sunday.
JI central leaders, Hafiz Muhammad Idress, Mian Muhammad Aslam, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim, and district ameer, Mualana Dr Attaur Rehman also attended the session.
Commenting the president Mamnoon Hussain, demanding from religious scholars to declare interest on loans for poor as legitimate, JI provincial chief said the president had committed disloyalty with his oath and constitution of the country, by saying such words, adding that the protection of interest is meant for protection feudals' and capitals' interests and exploiting right of the poor people of the country.
Mushtaq Ahmad said JI will fight against interest at every fora. He viewed that the founding leader, Quaid-i-Azam had never used word liberalism in his speeches and sermons, but he also talked about Islamic Pakistan.
He said those talking about liberalism that will call as traitor with Pakistan, its constitution and committed disloyalty with the blood of martyred. He said the supporters of liberalism had ruined the country altogether.
JI provincial chief said Pakistan foreign debts had touched at 68 billion dollars. He alleged the rulers have gained the loans for only accumulating in their personnel accounts, instead of utilising on welfare and well-being of poor masses.
Mushtaq Ahmad also accused that government had embezzled 518 million dollars in mega Nandipur hydro power development project. He further added that rulers had only initiated mega developmental schemes for their corruption, instead of betterment of the poor people.
He said people will not see sign of relief from the corrupt rulers, as they have completely failed to address the basic issues and problems of poor masses.
JI leader has claimed that his party has proven its record regarding raising rights of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, because of which the party has become voice of people hearts.
He urged workers to work hard day and night for spreading the message and manifesto of the party at every nook and corner in the province.
He expressed the hope that thousands of people, including youth, female, and male, will join the Jamaat-e-Islami to struggle for an Islamic, peaceful and prosperous Pakistan.
