I am pleased to know that Sindh AIDS Control Program is observing the World AIDS DAY with the theme "Getting to ZERO" with the objective to create awareness among masses about deadly aspect of this burgeoning issue.
The Sindh Government is committed to eradicate this menacing problem by creating awareness among masses which has assumed critical dimension over the period of time afflicting large section of the population across the globe. The aim requires persistent endeavours by all stakeholders through overemphasising prevention aspect and improving treatment services in the province and which would ultimately help reducing the burden of the disease. World AIDS Day provides an opportunity to all concerned including individuals, communities and political leaders to take action towards "Getting to Zero" Theme of the World AIDS Day.
