Renowned broadcast journalist and ex-wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, Reham Khan returned to Pakistan on Thursday after staying away for a month after dissolution of her marriage. Talking to media persons at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, she said she was happy on her return to her homeland. "I have neither lost my respect nor peoples' love for me. I was enjoying peace and tranquility on my return to my homeland," she stressed.
However, she admitted that she was embarrassed over negative propaganda against her. "They should provide proofs who are declaring me agent," she said. She said she was going to start a talk show at a local TV channel and said that her talk show would promote change in Pakistan.
When asked whether she would be interviewing Imran Khan, she said smilingly: "I think I have interviewed him many times now." She also thanked to the PTI leader Faisal Wada and his family for supporting her despite party pressure. She denied of receiving money from any of the party leaders and termed all such allegations as baseless propaganda. Speaking about her street child initiative, Reham said she did not start the program because of any affiliation with the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government or any political party.
