BoK opens Raast Islamic Banking branch at Torghar

The Bank of Khyber (BoK) on Wednesday opened its new 'Raast Islamic Banking' branch at Torghar. Matloob-ur-Rehman Deputy Commissioner Torghar formally inaugurated the BOK Raast Islamic Banking Branch at Civil Colony District Headquarter Torghar, during a ceremony.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by the senior local administration officers apart Shabeer Ahmad Sheikh BOK Executive Vice-President & Group Head Operations, Support & HRD, Muhammad Asad Senior Vice-President BOK Raast Islamic Banking Group, Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani SVP Marketing & Branding, Suleman Akhtar SVP General Administration, Muhammad Naveed Qureshi Head Islamic Business Development, Jawad Tajik Head Banking Operations, Syed Mazhar Ali Shah BoK Area Manager Hazara and Muhammad Amer local branch Manager.
The Deputy Commissioner, while speaking on the occasion said that the Bank of Khyber (BoK) will play its vital in socio-economic development of this remote district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with BOK presence in the district Torghar.
He said the masses will avail not only the quality banking service including ATMs and the financial services which will increase the economic activities in the area. Matloob-ur-Rehman also appreciated the BOK initiative for expending the Bank's network to this area with the aim of balanced economic growth in the area. Speaking on the occasion BoK Group Head Operations, Shabeer Ahmad Sheikh briefed the visiting guests that BoK is expending its network of branches across the province with specific idea to further support the trading community through its services across the province and to contact them with across the country as BoK is present in more than 63 cities of the country and supporting the masses.
