NBP launches passport, visa fee collection facility

The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has rolled out the services of passport and visa fee collection facility all over Pakistan and the inauguration ceremony held at the DHA T Block branch of the Bank on Friday. The Bank is already offering the same facility in Islamabad. The SEVP and Group Chief CRBG Muddasir Khan, SVP and Regional Head, Islamabad Farooq Hassan and EVP and Regional Head, Lahore, Shahid Iqbal Dar along with other senior executives of the bank were present on the occasion.
Muddasir H Khan vowed to lead from the front in reaching to the masses and particularly its customers. "We are always open to innovative ways to bring convenience and improvise service standards. The Bank's management would not leave any stone unturned to make it the bank of choice," he added.
Farooq Hasan said such facilities would make cumbersome processes, hassle-free and being the Nation's Bank, it's our foremost duty to serve the public and our customers in particular. The Director General Passport Usman Bajwa said the arrangement would facilitate passport and visa applicants to avoid queues and agents at the Passport offices. "A project for collection of passport and visa fee through mobile banking services would also be introduced soon besides online issuance of passports is also in the process," he added. Regional Head, NBP Lahore Shahid Iqbal Dar said that the management is committed to facilitate its customers and provide a high level of service to its customers.
