US CG appreciates efforts of CPLC

US Counsel General Brian Heath on Monday appreciated the efforts of Citizen Police Liaison Committee's (CPLC) efforts which are evident from the declining trend in heinous crimes in the city. The US Counsel General expressed these views during his visit to the CPLC central reporting cell at Governor House, along with high ranking consulate officials.
The CPLC Chief, Zubair Habib gave a presentation about the CPLC in Sindh and briefed about the inception of CPLC, its functions, core values, infrastructure and success stories in the last 26 years. The teams were also taken to the Police Complaint Cell at CRC, Complaint Handling Department, IT Cell, Sketching unit and Call Centre. The US Counsel showed special interest in CPLC's Neighbourhood Care Projects, CPLC Public School at three different downtrodden areas of Karachi, constructions and operations of public toilets and free dispensaries. Chief CPLC, Zubair Habib thanked the US Counsel General for visiting CPLC's central reporting cell. The Counsel General appreciated the role of CPLC and was optimistic in working closely for capacity building of CPLC team for combating crimes in the province.
