Administrator Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Brigadier Zubair Ahmed has inaugurated newly renovated library complex of Defence Central Library, here on Tuesday. Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Brigadier Zubair said DHA always gave importance to dissemination of knowledge in the society. He said the library had designed on modern lines to create the knowledge based society.
"DHA Library also has been honoured that it also serves friendly atmosphere for the aged people because it has set up special ramp for physically challenged elderly segment of the society," he said. Administrator also lauded the new architectural design, internal finishing, advanced lighting system, carpeting and air conditioning systems of the library besides also commended the role of engineers who worked tirelessly to make the facility more attractive. The ceremony was attended by the people belonging to the different segment of society including journalists, government officials and civil society members.
