A two-day 7th Symposium of National Institute of Child Health (NICH) beginning here today (Saturday) at a local hotel will be inaugurated by Sindh Health Minister Jam Mahtab Dahr. Unfolding the details of the symposium at a news conference, NICH director Professor Dr Jamal Raza said that the event which is aimed at sharing latest techniques and inventions in the field paediatrics will be attended by more than 1,000 paediatricians and surgeons and they include experts from Australia, the United Kingdom, Turkey and China.
Professor Jamal informed media persons that it was for the first time that the NICH had organised 15 pre-event workshops and sessions at various city hospitals which include Sindh government hospitals, located at Saudabad, Malir, Orangi Town and North Nazimabad's Children Hospital. Media Committee chairman Dr Arshad Domki, secretary Dr Jai Parkash and Dr Arait Parkash of scientific committee were also present at the press conference.
