Wapda launches new initiative to improve fielding standard in cricket

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has launched a new initiative in sports - T-12 Cricket - in a bid to improve standard of fielding in cricket of Pakistan. For the purpose, Wapda Sports Board has organised Wapda T-12 School Cricket Tournament here at Wapda Sports Complex. The tournament, to be started on December 22, will be played with modified rules with prime focus on fielding. As many as eight schools from Lahore are participating in the tournament, final of which to be played on December 30.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar M. Khan will be the chief guest of the inaugural ceremony of the tournament to be held on Tuesday (today) at Wapda Sports Complex.
