The captain of Pakistan's Twenty20 team Shahid Afridi has said that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will help the youngsters of the country in getting confidence and it will give them opportunity to share dressing rooms with world class players. The draft of the inaugural edition of PSL was held in Lahore, in which all the national cricket stars and most of the former cricket heroes of Pakistan were present. Most of the Pakistani players were picked up, including some of the well-know International players, Cricket World News reported.
Afridi said that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has to be given credit for arranging this event and this will surely help the Cricket in Pakistan a lot. He said that this will give a message to whole world that Pakistan is a cricket loving nation and wants peace. The PSL will consist of 5 teams, Peshawar Zalmi, Lahore Qalandar, Karachi Kings, Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators. Afridi has been picked up by Peshawar side, which also includes former T20 captain Muhammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal and Wahab Riaz.
