The Supreme Court on Wednesday adjourning hearing of federation's review petition against the ban on hunting of Houbara bustards till Thursday (today). During the course of proceedings, principal law officer Salman Aslam Butt and Punjab's additional advocate general advanced their arguments. After hearing of the Sindh government' counsel Farroq H. Naek arguments in the matter, the court decided to take up the matter the other day.
On Wednesday, a larger bench of the top court led by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, comprising justices Mian Saqib Nisar, Iqbal Hameedur Rehman, Umar Ata Bandial and Qazi Faez Isa resumed the hearing of the case.
