The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued directives to Secretary Transport Sindh to finalise registration process of Qingqi rickshaws in the province within three months. Resuming the hearing of appeal filed against Sindh High Court's verdict regarding ban on Qingqi in Karachi, a two member bench comprising Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Dost Mohammed ruled that after completion of the registration process of the Qingqi under concerned laws, these should not be allowed to ply on the roads without fitness.
Hearing of the matter was adjourned for three months.
