KP honours Peshawar Panthers

Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday honoured National Twenty20 Cricket Champion team Peshawar Panthers with cash prize here. Deputy Director Sports Adil Safi was the chief guest on this occasion. Director General Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Miss Rashida Ghaznavi, President Regional Cricket Association Peshawar Gul Zada, team coach Abdur Rehman, team manager Rozamin Khan, newly-appointed Director Sports PSB Coaching Center Mumtaz Khan, players and large number of spectators were also present.
In his address RCA Peshawar President Gul Zada thanked Chief Minister, Secretary Sports, Deputy Director Sports and DG Sports for encouraging Peshawar Panthers National Twenty20 Cricket Champion with cash prize. He also brought the attention of the Deputy Director Sports Adil Safi for ensuring ground facility to the players registered either with Peshawar District Cricket Association and or Regional Cricket Association Peshawar.
Speaking on this occasion, Adil Safi lauded the efforts of the all the team players and paid rich tribute to team coach and manager for their dedication and commitment toward stunning performances. He said although Peshawar Panthers won the National T20 Championship earlier on and this one the second time yet we realised that an appreciation called should be given to them.
