On Friday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 5,907 million. The number of lots traded was 27.86 million. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,528. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5,245 million followed by crude (PKR 591.36 million), silver (PKR 55.81 million), cotton (PKR 7.42 million) and red chilli (PKR 6.8 million).
