National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has developed an effective monitoring and evaluation system with maintenance of data at each stage to make the process transparent. Progress on the system's smooth functioning was discussed at a meeting that Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhry presided, according to NAB's press release that said the meeting was held at NAB Headquarters on Friday.
The system includes complaint entry, complaint verification, inquiry, investigation, prosecution stage and record preservation of Regional Board Meetings and Executive Board Meetings including case brief, decisions made and list of participants attended the meeting with time and date and ability to analyse data in qualitative and quantitative form having warnings and alarms system for violators.
During the meeting, DG NAB Headquarters gave a presentation regarding the latest progress on MES in NAB and its efficacy in future.
Chairman NAB said that monitoring and evaluation system was a process and an important management tool that helped improve performance and achieved results to improve current and future management of outputs, outcomes and impact.-PR
