The Meteorological Department has said that cold and dry weather was expected because continental air prevailed over most parts of the country.
"Partly cloudy weather conditions are expected in Zhob, Malakand divisions, upper FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan during evening/night," he said adding that dense foggy conditions are likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab, Peshawar division and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
During next 48 hours, the Met Office also predicted the chances of drizzle in Zhob, Malakand, Hazara divisions upper FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Weather also remained cold and dry in most parts of the country on Sunday.
