Friends are expected to reunite once again, as Real Madrid left back Marcelo is expected to join Juventus in January.

The 30-year-old has won four La Liga titles and four Champions League winners medals since joining Los Blancos from Brazilian club Fluminense in 2007.

Two years later Ronaldo joined the Spanish giants from Manchester United on than world record fee- striking up a close relationship with the Brazilian ever since.

Their nine-year spell ended in July when Ronaldo made the move from the Spanish capital to Turin in a £99m deal.

Surprisingly, the 33-year-old is yet to find the net in his three appearances to date for Juve.

According to El Confidencial, the two friends could be back on the same team again very soon, though.

Marcelo is primed to push for a move in January - with Juve star Alex Sandro expected to move on.

The Brazil international, previously represented by Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, has started every one of Madrid's league matches so far this season.
