A clinical seminar aimed at creating awareness on influenza virus/swine flu, was held at Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital on Saturday. Professor Dr Muhammad Ashraf Nizami, Medical Superintendent informed the participants about swine flu in Pakistan and preparations by Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital Multan Road. The seminar was held in connection with Continuous Medical Education (CME).
Dr Amir lqbal, Chief Consultant Physician gave a lecture on swine flu and thoroughly discussed the spectrum of the disease, its signs and symptoms, diagnostic criteria as well as treatment of influenza-affected patients.
Dr M Nasir Javaid Qureshi also spoke on the occasion.
