An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday ordered arrest of the investigation officer (IO) for his failure in arresting a key accused in the case pertaining to attack on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rashid Godil. The court also ordered to block disbursement of salary to the investigation officer Hussain Mehdi as a Lyari gangster and key accused in Godil's attack could not be arrested.
The court directed the police to also arrest the accused and produce them before it on February 6. Alleged gangster Shahid Bikik failed to appear before the court after taking bail in three cases. According to police, the accused is on the run after he was nominated in the Rashid Godil attack case.
