Redressing public grievances: government to launch Call & SMS service

Sindh government is currently in process to launch EZ-Effective Feedback Redressal Mechanism to redress public grievances. Authorities sharing detail of the service told media here on Sunday that citizens who may have applied for registration or mutation of property, vehicles, payment of pension or reimbursement of medical bills would be informed about status of their application and stage of process through a robo- call.
This was said to be in the voice of Sindh Chief Minister and in case there was found to be any grievances the concerned complainant was said to receive an SMS about status of the measures adopted for redressal of their complaint.
The applicants would also enquired if they may have faced any problem in filing their application or may have been asked for any sort of gratification (bribe). "Their response shall be sought via SMS on toll free number 9515," said the officials mentioning that SMS service is being launched to stop corruption in departments dealing with public.
In reply to a question, the officials said applicant would also be able to file his complaint in reply of the SMS in case of any problem..
