Saad Rafiq meets Shahbaz

Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, a lot of work has been carried out for energy projects during last two and a half years. He said that Punjab government is working on thousands of energy projects under China Pakistan Economic Corridor and from its own resources. He said that after completion of these projects, loadshedding will be reduced considerably in 2017.
The Chief Minister said that the completion of energy projects with transparency and speed is being ensured and a glorious example of saving billions of rupees of the nation has been set by ensuring transparency in these projects. He said that there is no example of starting and completing projects with transparency in the history of the country and the government has promoted new trends by introducing transparency and high quality in the projects. Shahbaz Sharif said that efforts being made under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for elimination of energy crisis are bearing fruit.
He said that work on energy projects is being carried out speedily and these projects have great importance for removing darkness of loadshedding. He said that 112 billion rupees have been saved by ensuring transparency in three gas-based projects in Punjab and these are the cheapest projects of the world.
