'JI struggling for positive change as per Constitution, democratic norms'

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Amir Siraj-ul-Haq has said that the JI has been struggling for a positive change in the country as per the Constitution and democratic norms.
Addressing a party convention at Bait-ul-Mukaram Masjid at Akhtar colony on Monday, the JI leader urged masses to join the struggle of JI for transforming Pakistan into a peaceful, prosper, welfare Islamic state.
He said that the JI doesn't believe in the divide of the society on sectarian and ethnic lines and do believe that a pure Islamic state is guarantee for a prosper Pakistan. He said that JI calls people to be united and remain loyal to the Allah Almighty.
Talking about the present socio-economic and political scenario of the country, he said that the government has badly failed to mitigate the miseries of people, despite all towering claims.
He added that instead the government is mulling to sale national institutions as per the dictation of the international monitory institutions just for the nefarious and vested interests of the ruling elite.
Despite the passage of two and half year, the government is failed to provide livelihood for a large number of youngsters. Indeed, the allies of the country's enemies are ruling on the state, he added.
The JI Amir said that the JI wants to transform Pakistan into a welfare state which is not possible without honest leadership. He further said that the party has been pursuing for a Pakistan in which the state would fulfil the basic needs of orphans, widows and other legging behind segments of the society.
He further said that JI wants Pakistan to get rid of the interest based economy, capitalisation and other social evils. He said that Allah Almighty in the holy book of Quran has categorically defined the right and wrong paths to be follow, now being a nation it's an obligation for us to follow the right path so as to be facilitated by the blessings of our creator.-PR
