Mixed trend seen on grain market

Prices moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Tuesday in the process of moderate trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Sindh picked up Rs 125 to Rs 10375 and Moong Afghan followed same pattern, gaining Rs 250 to Rs 11750, they said.
On the grams side, grams Australia No 1 lost Rs 400 to Rs 7800, grams Dall Australia No 2 fell by Rs 250 to Rs 9450, grams 50x50 dropped sharply by Rs 750 to Rs 8250 and grams Dall 50x50 shed Rs 300 to Rs 10200, other items maintained overnight levels, they added.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type was down by Rs 40 to Rs 2960 and better quality was up by Rs 25 to Rs 3125, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type was higher by Rs 75 to Rs 2075 and best variety was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 2100, they said.
