Commissioner visits Government College Kali Mori

Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad Qazi Shahid Pervaiz has directed the officials of education works to take immediate measures to begin decoration work of the Government Collage Kali Mori to secure this historical national asset. He gave these directives during his visit to the collage on Tuesday, the deputy commissioner Mutasim Abbasi, additional commissioner II Farrukh Shahzad, chief engineer education works; collage Principal Dr Professor Naseeruddin Shaikh, ex-MPA Abdul Rehman Rajput and other related officials were accompanied with him.
The Divisional Commissioner said the college building should be remained in its real condition during the beatifications work as it is a historical asset and the great famous personalities were educated in this college, who lighted the name of the country at international level.
He assured the college administration of his complete corporation, in view of 100-year ceremonies of the Government Collage, being marked in February. In this regard, the divisional commissioner while reviewing development works directed the officials concerned to remove the encroachments to widen the road by 50 feet from the side of Garibabad-Charry. And put the notices on to the habitants living illegally there so that the work of widening road could be started, he said. He said due to these encroachments heavy traffic remains blocked and often caused accidents.
