Civil society and human rights activists on Friday filed two more fresh applications with Aabpara police station for registration of an FIR against Lal Masjid cleric Maulana Abdul Aziz and for his arrest.
According to the application filed by Muhammad Jibran Nasir Siddique, a video which was also aired on a private channel the unknown female students of Jamia Hafsa had announced allegiance to terror outfit Daesh or Islamic State (IS) and congratulated its head Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, asking him to impose Khilafat in Pakistan and take revenge of military operation against Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa and Osama bin Ladan from Pakistan and Pakistan army.
He said unknown students of Jamia Hafsa had announced allegiance with the terror organisation therefore an FIR should be registered against these unknown students, Maulana Abdul Aziz and his wife Umme Hassan. Another application was filed by Khurram Zaki civil society and human rights activist. He took plea in his application that Abdul Aziz of Jamia Hafsa/ Lal Masjid recently has released a video message, distributed over social media in which he attempted to incite sectarian hatred and violence against Shia Muslims in Pakistan by blaming them for leading civil society campaign against him and Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa.
He said that Aziz also accused ISI for supporting and promoting sectarian agenda by trying to concoct false and fabricated evidence against him. He requested for registration of an FIR against Aziz under ATA and PPA and other section of CrPc and for his (Aziz) arrest.
