A petition challenging the 1952 Essential Services Maintenance Act meant for the national carrier has been dismissed. On Monday, the Lahore High Court said the case hardly called for hearing since a notification of the ordinance imposition was never attached and also the petitioner was never part of any workers'''' confederation to bring up the case in the first place. Lawyer Ishtiaq Ahmad Chaudhry had filed the petition.
