Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan termed ban on Tablighi Jamaat (TJ) in educational institutions treason with the ideology of Pakistan and urged the religious minded people to join hands.
He expressed these views while addressing a cleric convention in Sandvi (Puran) district Shangla. Others speakers included Maulana Mohammad Ismail, Abdul Akbar Chitrali, Maulana Abdul Aziz and Maulana Sultan Alam.
Addressing the convention, provincial amir, JI, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan said that their party is playing role in bringing the country out of crisis and urged the clerics for playing role in the resolution of the present problems.
He was critical of the notification of the provincial government for allowing dance, music and other programs in the educational institutions of the province and warned that they will not allow such secular and liberal steps of the government.
He also called for the linking of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) with backward areas so besides resolution of problems, Pak-China friendship would further strengthened. He said that solution to all problems of Pakistan is in the enforcement of Shariah system.
