KP chief minister announces internal security allowance for FC QRF

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak while lauding the contribution of Frontier Constabulary has said that the force has set unprecedented example of gallantry in combating terrorism in country and that is why government and people were proud of the brave defenders of FC force. This, he said while addressing a special ceremony held at training centre of F.C at Hayatabad, Peshawar on Tuesday.
Smart a contingent of the Quick Response Force of F.C presented guard of honour to the Chief Minister on the occasion. The soldiers of Quick Response demonstrated latest defence techniques to combat terrorist activities and safeguard civilian population. The audience appreciated the skills and techniques displayed by QR personnel on the occasion.
The Chief Minister while addressing the Quick Response troops said that FC force had always demonstrated bravery and commitment by rendering unprecedented sacrifices. He added the FC had brilliant record of defending geographical boundaries, maintenance of law and order and combating terrorism.
The Chief Minister said that this force had always proved itself as a disciplined, dedicated and highly professional force. Appreciating the excellent standard of training of the force he expressed satisfaction in bringing changes training manual of FC to enable it to meet challenges in proper manner. He said that the excellent performance of the force was reflecting the quality training they had achieved.
The Chief Minister also announced provision of internal security allowance to the personnel of Quick Response attached to police in the province. He ordered allocation of funds for the purpose in next financial budget. Earlier, Commandant, FC, Liaqat Ali Khan highlighted the role played by FC in maintenance of law and order and combating terrorism in the country.
He informed the Quick Response force was established in 2006 to meet the challenges of terrorism. He elaborated the Quick Response Force has rendered extra ordinary services during Swat, Torghar, Badhbair and Bacha Khan University operations. He said that the force had displayed its commitment and professionalism skill despite meagre resources.
