CM, Corps Commander discuss implementation of NAP

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has said that Sindh government was working hard to implement National Action Plan (NAP) in its true letter and spirit. "The operation against terrorists would continue till the last terrorist for which the role of police, Rangers and intelligence agencies is commendable." This he said while talking to Corps Commander Karachi Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar who called on him here at the CM House here, said a statement on Wednesday.
They discussed the issues pertaining to over all law and order, operation against terrorists, the cases sent to military courts and their progress, the other cases in the pipeline and arrest of a terrorist involved in Safoora Goth incident. It may be noted that the Sindh government has held 13 Apex Committee meetings in which most important decisions were taken and their implementation is being monitored at government level. They also discussed the prosecution issues and the CM Sindh told the Corps Commander that the appointment of new prosecutors was in progress. "With the establishment of 10 more ATCs and appointment of new prosecutors the pendency in the ATCs would come down and the disposal of the cases would also be in time. The CM Sindh lauded the efforts of intelligence agencies and Pakistan Army for their role to thwart the Hyderabad jail break conspiracy.
