Punjab University Teaching Department (PUTD) has clinched first position in the 68th Inter-collegiate Girls Championship securing 147 points on Wednesday. The two-day championship was organised by Punjab University Department of Sports at Punjab Hockey Stadium in which athletic teams from as many as 30 colleges participated while 21 events were held.
Shibli College Faisalabad obtained 2nd position by scoring 70 points while Noble College of Commerce Lahore finished 3rd position by securing 55 points. Aamna Siraj of Nobel College of Commerce was declared the best athlete with 28 points. Punjab Uninversity's Director Sports Shamsa Hashmi, Director Students Affairs Shahid Gul and other officials participated in the prize distribution ceremony.
