Regional Tax Office (RTO) Rawalpindi has launched a shop-to-shop campaign to interact with shopkeepers and traders and apprise them of the salient features of Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS) and the opportunities and incentives it offers to traders to become filers and part of the tax system.
Chief Commissioner RTO Rawalpindi, Muhammad Tanvir Akhtar has already directed Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme (VTCS) facilitation teams to move shop-to-shop to educate the traders about the boons and benefits of the scheme. All 14 teams of the RTO have undertaken visits to different bazaars and shopping malls in the city, briefing and explaining to traders the benefits of scheme. The response from the traders has been quite encouraging so far and traders have shown their willingness and enthusiasm to avail the campaign.-PR
