Broadcast journalist Reham Khan has signed up to be an organ donor at the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT). The ex-wife of the chief of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, signed the form to this effect during a visit to the SIUT here on Sunday. On the occasion, she also inquired about the welfare of the renowned social worker, Abdul Sattar Edhi, at the SIUT.
Later, talking to media Reham Khan said that she also signed up to be an organ donor. She was of the view that the people should sign to be organ donor to help save the lives of those who need transplantation.
Reham Khan said that patients from almost every part of the country come to SIUT for the required treatment.
She said that if one helps save the life of a patient that tantamount to rehabilitation of the entire family and that this is a `Sadqa-i-Jaria'.
