The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will get help from the British Office of Qualification and Examination to uplift the standard of vocational training at its institutes in the Punjab. Last year, the organisation signed a memorandum of understanding with its British counterpart in presence of the chief minister.
Chairperson Irfan Qaiser Sheikh talking with Head of the Department for International Development Ben French at a meeting at the former secretariat on Thursday said, "The Office of Qualification and Examination has assigned the responsibilities to the International Department to go ahead on their behalf as per the agreement to promote vocational training in the Punjab. "My organisation has introduced demand-driven short courses for the youth of the Punjab.
