PPDWP approves welfare schemes worth Rs 7.165 billion

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved seven development schemes of various Development Sector with an estimated cost of Rs 7.165 billion including Establishment of Emergency Service in 62 remaining Tehsils (Phase-III) at the cost of Rs 4168.685 million. These schemes were approved in the 29th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2015-16 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, members of the Planning and Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting. According to Spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included:
Establishment of Emergency Service in 62 remaining Tehsils (Phase-III) at the cost of Rs 4168.685 million. Construction of Office Complex of Food Directorate, Divisional Office, Lahore and DFC, Lahore-I and II at the cost of Rs 273.703 million. Construction of Infrastructure of CTD Punjab: Construction of Regional Office CTD, Sahiwal at the cost of Rs 380.009 million.
Construction of Infrastructure of CTD Punjab: Construction of Provincial Headquarter CTD, Lahore at the cost of Rs 1215.233 million. Construction of Judicial Academy, Lahore (Revised) at the cost of Rs 856.245 million. Viability and Screening of Roads Prioritized By District Co-ordination Committees (DCCs) under Khadim-E-Punjab Rural Roads Programme (KPRRP), Phase-II (Part-B) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 28.710 million. Feasibility Study for Installation of Cable Cars Murree (Phase-I) (Revised) (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 243.303 million.
