Pappu murder case's accused handed over to Rangers

Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, on Friday produced former police Inspector Chand Khan Niazi, a key accused in Arshad Pappu murder case, before the administrative judge of Anti-Terrorism Courts, who handed over the accused to the paramilitary force on 90-day preventive detention for questioning.
The suspect Niazi was produced before administrative judge amid tight security. Counsel for the paramilitary force told the judge that they had credible information about suspect's involvement in offences that come within the ambit of Anti-Terrorism Act. According to Rangers, the suspect was arrested during targeted operations in Lyari. The court directed formation of joint investigation team to interrogate the suspect.
