Ministry yet to upload LNG pact on its website

Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, including its attached department notably PSO and Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), has not yet uploaded on its website the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) agreement with Qatar eighteen days after it was signed.
The $15 billion purchase agreement for 3.75 million tons of which during the first two years, Pakistan will purchase 2.2 million tons, was signed by Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for Pakistan and Chairman Qatargas Board of Directors Saad Sherida in Doha on 10 February with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani witnessing the ceremony after years of negotiations and speculations.
Pakistan and Qatar have agreed on a price of 13.37 per cent of Brent which according to the Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is the lowest in the region and lower than the deal India struck with Qatar for 8.5 million tons.
Unconfirmed reports however indicate that India finalised a deal with Qatar at 12.05 per cent of Brent whereas Pakistan inked a more expensive agreement at 13.37 per cent of Brent.
