Vice-Chancellor Karachi University Prof. Dr. Muhammad Qaiser said that fields of Medical Science and Information Technology had experienced enormous and revolutionary developments which were unpredictable 50 years ago. "The world has been transformed into a global village and the whole mankind is getting benefits of these recent developments including the developing nations. Significant developments in the field of Pharmacy have made this discipline, a very active one for the development of the mankind," the VC said while addressing the stone laying ceremony of the building of Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences KU at the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences KU.
Pharmacists having expertise in modern research and quality control may play a pivotal role in addressing the problems of the patients. He further congratulated the whole faculty for the issuance of six editions of the journal in one year. He termed it a great success and emphasised to maintain the high quality of research in the research publications in the journal.
Dr. Iqbal Azhar Dean Faculty of Pharmacy KU said that it was their collective responsibility to carry forward this work of the faculty members and this endeavour will play a pioneering role in the promotion of the Pharmacy industry in the country.
