Bajra and seeds prices were higher on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the grams side, Bajra low quality was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 3100 while the best type was unchanged at Rs 4600, they said.
On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh was higher Rs 50 to Rs 2150 and Rs 2200, cakes low type gained Rs 75 to Rs 1075 and better variety was higher by Rs 90 to Rs 1100, castor seeds Lasbela rose by Rs 100 to Rs 2200, castor seeds Lakhra registered at Rs 2400, rapeseeds Nawabshah and Mirpurlane, however, fell on steady arrivals, so low type was down by Rs 100 to Rs 1900 and best quality dropped by Rs 130 to Rs 1950, they said. Prices were unmoved on the cereals and rice sectors, dealers said.
